Hand block Print : There may be irregularities in the Hand Block print. Product Care: It is advisable to only dry-clean silk sarees. For subsequent washes, if dry cleaning is not possible, gently hand wash in cold water with soapnut or silk-suitable detergent or baby shampoo. Expect slight colour bleeding during the initial 2-3 washes. This is normal. Do not worry, this won’t fade the saree colour. Colour bleeding happens because it loses extra colour that is picked up during the dyeing process. Never hang a silk saree to dry in direct sunlight as doing so will cause the colour to fade.
Storage: Store the saree in a light cotton muslin cloth. This will give the saree breathing space and will prevent one saree from sticking to another when kept in a pile. Don’t store the saree in a plastic cover as this will cause the gold Zari to turn black.
